Another rooster for your perusal

Don't ask me what that trippy background is. It was a kind of gravelly walkway in the original photo, but I did whatever that is there instead.
I think I got the general idea here, but the rooster looks much too stiff and dry (taxidermy?) and I missed the lush quality of the original bird's feathers.
I clearly had more fun with the background than the bird, which is the opposite of how it should be. More work is required to capture the details of those soft-looking feathers, and I have to practice more so I can learn to loosen up.
