So in July, I tried it again.

I feel the need to reiterate that one drinks while painting during Paint Nite. In this case, the result was rather less successful than the first, but it was, as always, an enjoyable night out, this time with my niece, Gabrielle. So let the questions begin:
  • Is the hunk of green on the right the other bank across the river? Or is my tree stretching out her limb to show that she is wearing a charming green caftan?
  • What are those groups of green ovoids? Rocks in the water, lily pads floating on it, or swarms of angry Japanese beetles hovering at eye level, some wearing little white fascinators?
  • Are the pink streaks merely the reflection of a gorgeous sunset, or the beginning of a red tide?
  • Doesn't it look like that bridge goes to nowhere? That's OK, because all over the world, Bridge to Nowhere is a thing.
  • Why are my trees so sad?
