Hard-fought landscape... did I win?

This was the second painting I did during Brave Art Week with Jed Dorsey. It felt ambitious and scary to use big brushes and big strokes.

I had to force myself to put my brush down because I started fiddling with it too much. My father used to say that great art is about knowing when to stop.

I used SEVENTEEN brushes because I couldn't get the used ones clean enough to switch gears and didn't want to slow down.

My fingers are still dirty with paint. I am typing through the Glad Wrap I draped over my keyboard to protect my laptop. I have to go wash all my brushes now.
